What Would You Let Go of If You Could?
We’re used to solving problems by adding things.
A new tool. A better system. A different strategy.
More time. More help. More effort.
But what if the problem isn’t that something’s missing?
What if the problem is that something extra is in the way?
This shows up in finances, for sure. But it also shows up in our schedules, our decisions, and the way we carry stress.
Sometimes we’re not overloaded because we’re doing anything wrong.
We’re overloaded because we’ve picked up too many things we never set back down.
A subscription we meant to cancel.
A responsibility that used to fit.
A routine that no longer makes sense.
A house that’s bigger than we need.
A pace of life that we never meant to keep.
You don’t need a complete reset.
But you might need a little clarity.
Here’s one simple way to get it:
Start asking:
What feels heavy? And could I let it go?
Even just one thing.
You might be surprised at how much peace comes from subtracting.
Not to simplify for the sake of it, but to clear space for what matters now.
Because your time, your money, your energy, and your attention—they’re all limited.
You get to choose how to use them.
You also get to choose what you’re no longer willing to spend them on.
That’s not quitting. That’s being wise.
So here’s a question worth sitting with today:
What would you let go of if you gave yourself permission?
It doesn’t have to be forever.
But it might be enough to help you breathe again.
And that’s worth something.
